Lithuania’s EU measure of inflation decreased in August, figures from the Department of Statistics Showed Wednesday.
The harmonized index of consumer prices, or HICP, fell 1.0 percent year-over-year in August and dropped 0.9 percent from the preceding month.
Transport costs plunged 6.9 percent in August from a year ago and utility costs slipped by 3.9 percent.
Prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages decreased 1.0 percent, while health care costs grew by 2.9 percent.
