The pound accelerated its gains further against its major rivals in New York deals on Monday.
The pound hit nearly 2-week highs of 0.7169 against the euro and 1.4526 against the franc, up from early lows of 0.7256 and 1.4326, respectively.
The pound advanced to more than 4-month highs of 186.60 versus yen and 1.5568 against the greenback, reversing from its previous lows of 184.56 and 1.5392, respectively.
Next key resistance for the pound may be located around 190.00 against the yen, 1.575 against the greenback, 1.50 against the franc and 0.70 against the euro.
