Probability of achieving a Greek deal is 50/50 – Germany’s Schaeuble

FXStreet (Mumbai) – Ahead of the Eurogroup meeting on Saturday, German finance minister Schaeuble said the probability of a Greek deal is 50/50.

As per an EU official, no proposal is being considered in regards to a Greek deal, however, creditors have put forward a five month bailout extension.

There also reports that the EU is preparing an emergency plan in case Greece rejects the proposal.

Ahead of the Eurogroup meeting on Saturday, German finance minister Schaeuble said the probability of a Greek deal is 50/50.
