South Korea’s official foreign reserves increased in October from the previous month, figures from the Bank of Korea showed Wednesday.
Official reserves rose to $3.690 billion in October from $368.11 billion in September. Total deposits grew to $25.3 billion from $24.08 billion.
Meanwhile, gold reserves remained unchanged in October at $4.8 billion. SDRs dropped slightly to $3.44 billion in October from $3.46 billion in the prior month.
Reserve position with IMF broadly unchanged in October. It dropped marginally to $1.43 billion from 1.44 billion in September.
At the same time, securities totaled $334.6 billion in October, up from $334.34 billion a month earlier.
