Weekly QE count from the ECB for the week ending May 27, 2016
– Total purchases now 799.4 vs 780.1bn prior
– Covered bonds total 177.4bn vs 176.2b prior
Eurozone QE is now a shade away from 800 billion euros. The pace of buying picked up but it’s the normal ebb and flow in the €16B to €20B range.
