At 5:00 am ET Wednesday, the European Commission publishes Eurozone economic sentiment survey data for June. The economic confidence index is expected to remain unchanged at 104.7 in June and the business sentiment indicator stable at 0.26.

Ahead of the data, the euro traded mixed against its major rivals. While the euro recovered against the yen, it eased from its early highs against the rest of major rivals.

The euro was worth 1.1070 against the greenback, 113.49 against the yen, 1.0843 against the franc and 0.8258 against the pound as of 4:55 am ET.
