At 3:00 am ET Thursday, Zurich-based KOF Swiss Economic Institute is due to release its leading indicator figures for April. The leading index is expected to rise to 91.5 in April from 90.8 in March.

Ahead of the data, the Swiss franc showed mixed trading against its major rivals. While the Swiss franc fell against the Euro, it held steady against the Pound, the U.S. dollar and the Yen.

As of 2:55 am ET, the Swiss franc was trading at 1.0453 against the Euro, 1.4509 against the Pound, 0.9403 against the U.S. dollar and 126.32 against the Yen.
