The Japanese yen was modestly changed following the country’s leading index, gauging the future economic activity, declined in May.
According to the Cabinet Office, the leading index dropped 106.2 in May from 106.4 in April.
The yen closed at ¥134.89 per euro, ¥122.29 per US dollar, ¥190.25 per British pound, and ¥129.53 per Swiss franc.
