News agency Kyodo on Sunday said Japan’s Finance Minister Taro Aso said parliament lower house should be disbanded followed by a general election if tax hike is delayed.

A government official said that Prime Minister Shinzo Abe plans to postpone a sales tax hike planned for April 2017 for two and a half years. Aso was speaking at a gathering of ruling party officials, Kyodo reported.
