All the major Asian indices are trading on a positive note on Wednesday but on the other side, Gold erases previous gains and dips below $1230 marks. In addition, USD/JPY hovers around 110 marks after BOJ comments on economy. Bank of Japan Governor Haruhiko Kuroda said on Wednesday the economy continued to recover moderately but acknowledged that private consumption was disappointingly weak. He added, no plan to change 2 pct inflation target.
Japan’s Nikkei N225 was trading 1.49% higher at 16,744 points in Tokyo.
South Korea’s Kospi was trading 1.30% higher at 1,962.16 points.
Hong Kong’s Hang seng index was trading 2.61% higher at 20,348 points. Shanghai composite index to open up 0.5 pct at 2,835.03 points while China's CSI300 index to open up 0.5 pct at 3,079.75 points.
Taiwan stocks open up 0.6 pct at 8,352.84 points.
Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was trading 1.79% higher at 5,390.60 points.
