CRC research will feature with two complete streams at the Australian & New Zealand Disaster and Emergency Management Conference on the Gold Coast. CRC researchers speaking include Dr Chris Bearman, Dr Paula Dootson, Dr Katharine Haynes, Dr Danielle Every, Laura Gannon, Dr Jim McLennan and Lyndsey Wright.

Earlybird registration closed on 18 April.

The CRC is a partner in this conference, with the annual event taking place on the Gold Coast from 30-31 May 2016.

The conference theme ‘EARTH, FIRE and RAIN’ addresses planning, response and the introduction of innovative techniques in management of disasters, emergencies and hazards.

The conference is a joint initiative of 4 ‘not-for-profit’ organisations: the Bushfire and Natural Hazards CRC, the Australian Institute of Emergency Services, the Australian & New Zealand Mental Health Association Inc. and the Association for Sustainability in Business Inc.
