The Australian dollar strengthened against most major currencies in the early European session on Tuesday.

The Australian dollar rose to 0.7717 against the U.S. dollar and 92.36 against the yen, from early 5-day lows of 0.7682 and 91.74, respectively.

Moving away from an early 6-day low of 1.3961 against the euro, the aussie appreciated to 1.3829.

The aussie edged up to 0.9466 against the Canadian dollar, from an early high of 0.9417.

If the aussie extends its uptrend, it is likely to find resistance around 0.80 against the greenback, 95.00 against the yen, 1.36 against the euro and 0.97 against the loonie.
