The exchange rate of the Danish krone against the euro is unlikely to be affected by the U.K.’s surprise decision to leave the EU, Denmark’s central bank governor Lars Rohde said Friday.
“There are no reasons why the British decision to leave the EU should affect the exchange rate of the Danish krone against the euro,” Danmarks Nationalbank Governor said in a statement.
“Danmarks Nationalbank will do what is necessary to keep the exchange rate stable should a pressure on the krone arise. We have the tools we need.”
