Oil driving USD/CAD lower but data could tell a different story
There are always two parts to the Canadian dollar story. 1) oil 2) the domestic economy.
Oil has made the Canadian dollar the top performing G10 currency this month but a stutter in the domestic economy could wobble the gains.
