The Canadian dollar strengthened against most major currencies in the Asian session on Tuesday.
The Canadian dollar rose to 1.3244 against the U.S. dollar, from an early 11-year low of 1.3294.
Against the yen and the euro, the loonie edged up to 90.66 and 1.5273 from yesterday’s closing quotes of 89.09 and 1.5418, respectively.
If the loonie extends its uptrend, it is likely to find resistance around 1.29 against the greenback, 95.00 against the yen and 1.44 against the euro.
