The manufacturing sector in China continued to contract in November, albeit at a slower pace, the latest survey from Caixin showed on Tuesday with a PMI score of 48.6.

That beat forecasts for a reading of 48.3, which would have been unchanged from the October reading.

Among the individual components, output stabilized in November after six months of contraction, while total work continued to decline. Input and out prices continued to fall.
