The manufacturing sector in China was steady in June, the latest survey from the National Bureau of Statistics said on Friday with a manufacturing PMI score of 50.0.

That was in line with expectations, and down slightly from 50.1 in May.

It also rests squarely on the line that separates expansion from contraction.

The bureau also said that the non-manufacturing PMI came in with a score of 53.7 – up from 53.1 in the previous month.
