Croatian economy expanded at a slower pace in the three months ended December as initially estimated, latest figures from the Croatian Bureau of Statistics showed Friday.

Gross domestic product advanced an unadjusted 1.9 percent year-over-year in the fourth quarter, confirming the flash data, following a 2.8 percent expansion in the preceding quarter.

On a seasonally adjusted basis, annual economic growth eased to 2.0 percent in the December quarter from 2.7 percent in the third quarter.

Quarterly, the economy contracted 0.5 percent in the three-month period to December, reversing a 1.4 percent spike in the previous quarter. It was also came in line with the preliminary report published earlier.
