Crude oil price rose Monday morning, trimming big losses from the previous session.
Light, sweet crude futures for October were up 62 cents, or 1.4%, at $45.30 in the Globex electronic session.
Prices plunged almost 5 percent Friday amid speculation that OPEC will maintain production.
