Denmark’s industrial production decreased in September after rising in the previous month, figures from Statistics Denmark showed Friday.

Industrial production fell a seasonally adjusted 1.4 percent month-over-month in September, reversing a 4.5 percent climb in August, which was revised down from a 2.7 percent increase reported earlier. In July, production had fallen 3.5 percent.

Production in the pharmaceutical industry dropped the most by 10.8 percent monthly in September, followed by manufacture of electrical equipment by 6.7 percent. At the same time, output in the electronics industry grew 10.3 percent.

On an annual basis, industrial production expanded a price and seasonally adjusted 1.9 percent in September.
