Denmark’s industrial production decreased for the second straight month in October, figures from Statistics Denmark showed Monday.

Industrial production fell a seasonally adjusted 0.5 percent month-over-month in October, slightly slower than the 0.7 percent drop in September.

In August, prices had risen 4.8 percent, which was revised up from a 4.5 percent climb reported earlier.

Production in the electronics industry plunged 9.7 percent monthly in October and that for pharmaceutical industry dropped by 1.4 percent. At the same time, output in the metal industry grew 3.2 percent.

On a yearly basis, industrial production advanced a price and seasonally adjusted 3.7 percent in October.
