Denmark’s producer prices declined at a faster pace in May, figures from Statistics Denmark showed Wednesday.

The producer price index fell 3.9 percent year-over-year in May, which was worse than the 2.5 percent decrease in April. Prices have been falling since June 2014.

Producer prices in the domestic market slid 4.2 percent annually in May and foreign market prices went down by 3.5 percent.

On a monthly basis, producer prices dropped 0.4 percent in May, reversing a 1.2 percent rise in the preceding month.
