Following the release of the U.S. retail sales and producer price inflation for September at 8:30 am ET Wednesday, the greenback slipped against the other major currencies.
The greenback was trading at 1.1438 against the euro, 119.42 against the yen, 0.9535 against the franc and 1.5408 against the pound around 8:32 am ET.
