The U.S. factory orders for February is set to be published at 10:00 am ET Thursday. Ahead of the data, the greenback slipped against its major rivals.
The greenback was quoted at 1.0889 against the euro, 0.9572 against the franc, 119.67 against the yen and 1.4839 against the pound at 9:55 am ET.
