The U.S. building permits and housing starts for March and weekly jobless claims for the week ended April 11 have been released at 8:30 am ET Thursday. Following these reports, the greenback fell further against its major rivals.
The greenback was trading at 1.0756 against the euro, 0.9613 against the franc, 1.4932 against the pound and 119.04 versus the yen around 8:32 am ET.
