The U.S. retail sales and producer prices for November are due at 8:30 am ET Friday. Ahead of these reports, the greenback showed mixed performance against the other major currencies. While the greenback declined against the pound, franc and the yen, it held steady against the euro.
The greenback was worth 1.0952 against the euro, 1.5160 against the pound, 121.48 against the yen and 0.9876 against the franc as of 8:25 am ET.
