The Commerce Department released third estimate of U.S. fourth quarter GDP data at 8:30 am ET Friday.
After the data, the U.S. dollar rose slightly against its major rivals.
As of 8:31 am ET, the U.S. dollar was trading at 1.1160 against the euro, 1.4121 against the pound, 0.9773 against the Swiss franc and 113.09 against the yen.
