Following the release of U.S. jobless claims report for the week ended January 30th at 8:30 am ET Thursday, the greenback slipped further against its major rivals.
The greenback was trading at 1.1227 against the euro, 1.4643 against the pound, 0.9951 against the franc and 117.09 against the yen around 8:31 am ET.
