The National Association of Realtors is due to release pending home sales for June at 10:00 am ET Wednesday. Ahead of the data, the greenback held steady against its major rivals.
The greenback was worth 123.65 against the yen, 0.9627 against the franc, 1.5678 against the pound and 1.1037 against the euro as of 9:55 am ET.
