Donald Trump Cancels Jimmy Kimmel’s Show
Donald Trump has canceled his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, saying that he has a “political event” Tuesday night and will appear on an episode of the ABC late-night show at a later date when it returns to Los Angeles.
“I have a political event, but I am going to do his show in 2 weeks,” Mr. Trump said. “I have a big political event which I can’t skip and I told him, I said, you know, ‘I have this event; I can’t skip it,’ but I will be doing it in 2 weeks once I am out in Los Angeles.”
During a Tuesday interview on SiriusXM’s Howard Stern Show, Kimmel whose show is broadcasting out of Brooklyn this week, said he was not sure what happened, but he was able to book Tracy Morgan in Trump’s place.
Monday, Jimmy Kimmel said that the format for his interview with Donald Trump was going to be a “Surprise.”
“I’m not interviewing him… It will be in studio, it will be live, and it will all make perfect sense when you see it,” Mr. Kimmel told CNN.
Jimmy Kimmel will be the 3rd late night host to have Donald Trump on his show. Mr. Trump has visited Jimmy Fallon and Stephen Colbert previously.
Stay tuned…
