Donald Trump Is Not A “Fad”, GOP Establishment Worried
The Republican establishment hopes for former Florida Jeb Bush, or Florida Senator Marco Rubio too move to the top of the presidential polls, time is not on their sides.
The 1 February Iowa Caucuses loom, and with only 10 days until Thanksgiving and the start of a long Holiday season, Americans will be paying less attention to the campaign.
Neither GOP front-runner, Donald Trump or Dr. Ben Carson, has ever held political office, leaving party leaders fearing they they do not have the understanding of foreign affairs to handle such crises as the Paris terrorist attacks.
If both Donald Trump and Dr. Carson can hold onto their leads by Thanksgiving, they are likely to remain there until after New Year and into the primary season.
Florida Senator Marco Rubio and Senator Ted Cruz (TX) are climbing in the polls, but expect to stay far down at 3rd and 4th through the holidays and into the New Year.
Any Republican who says that Donald Trump, or Dr. Carson are a fad who will fade before Iowa is engaging in the most wishful of thinking, it is a near-certainty now that the Top Tier going into Iowa will look like it does today.
