Donald Trump Moving in to “Hammer” Hillary Clinton

Donald Trump has moved ahead of Hillary Clinton in the race for President, according to a new Rasmussen Reports poll.

The poll finds:

41% support Trump
39% support Clinton
15% support another candidate
5% = are undecided

More Democrats support Clinton than Republicans support Trump:

77% of Democrats support Clinton
73% of Republicans support Trump

While more Democrats would support Donald Trump than Republicans would support Hillary Clinton:

15% of Democrats would vote for Trump
8% of Republicans would vote for Clinton

Donald Trump has the support of voters who do not identify as either Democrat or Republican, with 37% of those voters saying they would support Donald Trump, while 31% are Clinton voters, 23% of those voters are fans of another candidate, only 9% are undecided.

The survey of 1,000 likely voters was conducted on 27-28 April 2016 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3%.

In another poll there is heavy pressure for Ohio’s John Kasich to fold his tent and drop out of the Presidential race.

The pressure for 3rd-place GOP presidential candidate John Kasich to drop out of the race has increased with nearly 50% of all voters in Ohio believing their Governor should call it quits.

A Public Policy Polling survey released Monday shows some 49% of voters in The Buckeye State believe Gov. Kasich should end his quest for the White House, with just 38% saying he should stay in.

That finding is a far cry from 2 months back when just 34% thought he should bid adieu to the race versus 52 percent who believed he should keep going.

His approval ratings have also headed South, with 46% of voters approving of him and 40% disapproving. That compares to the 54% approval rating and 36% disapproval rating he had in March.

The Public Policy Polling survey of 799 registered voters was conducted on 26-27 April 2016, and has a margin of error is +/-3.2%.
