Donald Trump, “My pic for VP will be a Great Republican”

Friday morning, Donald Trump said he is still looking at potential Vice President picks, but he is not saying yet who is on the short list, but one thing is for sure he said, “it won’t be a Democrat.”

“I won’t mention names because I don’t want to embarrass anybody,” Donald Trump said. “People are saying ‘I have decided to turn it down.’ They were never on the list. In all fairness, I will not embarrass them. But Senators and Governors, they’re saying I have decided not to accept — I never even talked to them.”

Those people are not only not on the list, but they would not be chosen.

He said he is ruling out naming any Democrats at all, even though Ben Carson, who has been involved in the discussions, told the WS-J Thursday “we would consider people who are Americans and who put America 1st,” and that Democrats could be included.

“I would rule him out, or her out,” Donald Trump said of Democrats. “I want to have a great ticket. The Democrats have been in there a long time and the economy is terrible. The real unemployment rate is probably 20% . . . No, I’m going to pick a great Republican. We’ll have a tremendous victory. We’re going to win.”

It has been reported that some delegates who are saying they are for Senator Marco Rubio (FL), and would give Mr. Trump their votes if they consider the 1-time candidiate as a Vice President, and Mr. Trump agreed there a “a lot of things” he’d consider the senator for, because he likes him.

“Marco has been saying really nice things, as did Rick Perry, he called me one of the most talented people he’s seen run for office. That’s a long way back and I appreciate it from Rick because I like Rick. I always liked Rick.

“But that’s what I mean. He gave me an endorsement yesterday. John McCain gave us an endorsement. We had so many endorsements yesterday.”

Some top Republican leaders are still expressing wariness about Donald Trump but he will garner more support from Republicans by highlighting their common opponent.

Friday, Donald Trump took aim at Hillary Clinton for her use of a private email server while she was Barack Hussein Obama’s Secretary of State. Mrs. Clinton has said she did not send or receive information marked as classified. The FBI is investigating whether laws were broken.

“The email scandal should take her down but I don’t think it’s going to because I think she’s being protected by the Democrats,” Donald Trump said on a television news program that attracts a large conservative viewership.
