Donald Trump Questions RNC & CNBC’s Debate Rules

Update: Republican presidential candidates Donald Trump and Dr. Ben Carson Thursday threatened to pull out of the 3rd GOP debate in Colorado..

Front running Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump Thursday threatened to pull out of the 3rd GOP debate in Colorado later this month in a dispute with CNBC and the Republican National Committee (RNC) over its news rules.

Donald Trump took to Twitter to vent his anger after a conference call between RNC officials and top advisers to the candidates erupted into chaos over the issues. Mr. Trump is particularly concerned about the debate program’s length and whether candidates would be allowed to make opening and closing statements.

Three sources on the conference call said that Mr. Trump’s campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, said that if the debate did not include the statements and lasted no more than 2 hours including commercials that  Mr. Trump might not participate.

Donald Trump Tweeted: CNBC is pushing the @GOP around by asking for extra time (and no criteria) in order to sell more commercials.
