Donald Trump, “The critics are wrong about my image, fixing that.”

The Democrats have launched an all-out assault on Donald Trump the presumptive Republican Presidential nominee.

Donald Trump met with the W-P and told the newspaper he plans to address his image on the campaign trail and will explain why he has said certain things that some people have found offensive.

Mr. Trump came under fire over the weekend after a NY-T’s article painted him as demeaning toward women. He claims the allegations are false, and a woman featured in the article said her words were taken out of context.

Priorities USA, a super PAC partial to Democrat Hillary Clinton, has begun an advertising blitz against Mr. Trump as it tries to discredit him and all that he stands for.

Mr. Trump said he will counter the attack by being honest on the campaign trail.

“I may explain this stuff during speeches,” Donald Trump said. “It may be old news, it may not be old news, but I’m just telling you.”

Up date on Donald Trump’s financial picture

Donald Trump has a net worth of more than $10-B, and has spent nearly $47-M, loaned his campaign as much as $40-M, and has received contributions of $12.2-M from donors ranging from truck drivers to retirees to attorneys, according to federal financial disclosure forms filed Monday.

The campaign had $2.1-M in cash on hand as of 31 March, according to the disclosure to the Federal Election Commission.

The 104-page statement is similar to the document Donald Trump filed shortly after announcing his candidacy last June.

That document, filed last July, showed an income of $362-M for the previous year, including nearly $213-M he received from NBCUniversal, a unit of Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) during 14 years of hosting “The Apprentice.”

The form filed Monday spans 2 April 2015 to 31 March 2016.
