Donald Trump Wins Indiana, Ted Cruz Fades, John Kasich?
Tuesday eveing, RNC Chairman Reince Priebus declared Donald Trump as the GOP’s “presumptive” Presidential nominee and called for unity against Hillary Clinton after he swept the Indiana primary.

Donald Trump won the Hoosier State’s primary, driving Ted Cruz out of the race that the Texas Senator began in March 2015. Sen. Cruz was the 1st candidate to announce his candidacy for the Republican nomination.

A week ago, after landslide wins in 5 northeastern state primaries, Donald Trump declared himself the “presumptive nominee,” a description that the Indiana result bolsters even if Ohio Governor John Kasich fights on through the last contests in June.
The results also dealt a blow to the “Stop Trump” movement, a loose coalition of donors who vowed to block a candidate many in the Republican establishment view as detrimental to the party’s chances in November.
