Cops raced to the “Dr. Phil” show Tuesday after a guest acted like she might kill herself right in the stands.
Law enforcement says the guest was a woman around her thirties and was talking about her criminal past and boasting the fact that her children were taken away.So allegedly the audience turned on her, and it got so intense someone yelled, “Why don’t you just kill yourself?”
The woman then decides to consider the advice and says, “Maybe I will.” Show producers were alarmed enough that they called the cops.
When cops arrived, a producer was pushing for a psych hold. The LAPD brought out its mental health evaluation team and determined the woman didn’t pose a real threat to herself.
The woman left on her own.
