Dutch industrial production increased for the first time in six months in March, figures from Statistics Netherlands showed Monday
Industrial production climbed 1.6 percent year-over-year in March, reversing a 0.2 percent decline in the previous month.
Production in the pharmaceutical industry jumped 16.6 percent in March from the previous year and that for transport industry expanded by 9.2 percent. At the same time, output in the chemical industry fell 4.8 percent.
On a monthly basis, industrial production dropped a seasonally and calender-adjusted 1.4 percent in March.
