The euro strengthened against the other major currencies ahead of European deals on Friday.
The euro hit a 2-day high of 0.7202 versus the pound, while approaching 1.0859 against the greenback, its strongest since April 8.
The euro edged up to 129.65 against the yen and 1.0363 against the franc, from early lows of 128.94 and 1.0317, respectively.
The euro spiked up to 1.4334 against the NZ dollar, its highest since April 8.
The single currency recovered to 1.3932 against the aussie, from an early low of 1.3877.
The next possible resistance for the euro is seen around 1.10 against the greenback, 0.73 against the pound, 135.00 against the yen, 1.05 against the franc, 1.50 against the kiwi and 1.40 against the aussie.
