At 5:00 am ET Monday, Eurostat will release Eurozone construction output data for August. The index was 1.0 percent on month and 1.8 percent on year last month.
Ahead of the data, the euro fell against its major rivals.
As of 4:55 am ET, the euro was trading at 0.7348 against the pound, 1.0831 against the Swiss franc, 1.1363 against the U.S. dollar and 135.66 against the yen.
