Eurostat is set to release producer prices data for March at 5:00 am Tuesday. Producer prices are forecast to fall 2.3 percent year-on-year in March following a 2.8 percent drop in February.
Ahead of the data, the euro traded mixed against its major rivals. While the euro recovered against the franc, it slipped against the rest of major rivals.
The euro was worth 1.1099 against the greenback, 1.0408 against the franc, 0.7334 against the pound and 133.47 against the yen as of 4:55 am ET.
