The euro recovered from its early losses against the other major currencies in the early European session on Thursday.
The euro rose to 0.7162 against the pound, from an early more than 5-week low of 0.7116.
Against the U.S. dollar and the yen, the euro edged up to 1.0724 and 128.55 from early 2-day lows of 1.0665 and 127.87, respectively.
If the euro extends its uptrend, it is likely to find resistance around 0.74 against the pound, 1.11 against the greenback and 132.00 against the yen.
