The minutes of Bank of England’s monetary policy meeting is due on Wednesday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 2.45 am ET, the French statistical office Insee is set to issue manufacturing confidence data. The manufacturing sentiment index is seen at 101 in July compared to 100 in June.

At 4.00 am ET, Italy’s industrial orders figures for May are due. Orders advanced 5.4 percent month-on-month in April.

At 4.30 am ET, the Bank of England is slated to release the minutes of the Monetary Policy Committee meeting held on July 8 and 9. The bank held its interest rate at a record low 0.50 percent and quantitative easing at GBP 375 billion.

At 5.00 am ET, Italy’s statistical office Istat is scheduled to publish retail sales data. Sales are forecast to remain flat on a monthly basis in May after rising 0.7 percent in April.
