Quarterly national accounts from euro area and other major Eurozone economies are due on Friday, headlining a busy day for the European economic news.
At 1.30 am ET, the French statistical office Insee is set to publish third quarter GDP data. The economy is forecast to grow 0.3 percent sequentially after staying flat in the prior quarter.
Half an hour later, Germany’s quarterly national accounts are due. GDP is expected to rise 0.3 percent from a quarter ago, when it grew 0.4 percent.
In the meantime, Statistics Finland releases consumer price data for October. In September, prices were down 0.6 percent.
At 3.00 am ET, final consumer prices from Spain and GDP figures from the Czech Republic and Hungary are due. The Czech economy is expected to expand 4.2 percent annually and Hungary’s GDP to rise 2.5 percent in the third quarter.
At 3.15 am ET, Switzerland’s Federal Statistical Office is slated to publish producer and import prices for October.
At 3.30 am ET, Dutch GDP and external trade figures are due. The Dutch economy is expected to grow 0.4 percent quarter-on-quarter.
At 4.00 am ET, Italy’s statistical office Istat issues preliminary GDP data. Economists forecast the economy to grow 0.3 percent sequentially, the same rate as seen in the second quarter.
Half an hour later, the Office for National Statistics releases U.K. construction output. Output is forecast to grow 1.5 percent on a monthly basis in September after falling 4.3 percent in August.
At 5.00 am ET, Eurostat publishes Eurozone GDP data. The economy is expected to grow 0.4 percent sequentially, the same rate as seen in the second quarter. Italy’s final consumer price figures are also due at 5.00.
