Eurozone unemployment rate remained unchanged in August, data from Eurostat showed Wednesday.
The jobless rate held steady at double-digit 11 percent in August. It was expected to remain at July’s originally estimated rate of 10.9 percent.
The number of unemployed decreased by 1,000 from July to 17.603 million. From last year, unemployment fell by 892,000.
The youth unemployment rate came in at 22.3 percent versus 23.6 percent in the previous year.
