F1: US Grand Prix Qualifying Postponed Til Sunday

Weather reports for Saturday indicated 100% chance of rain with 89% humidity and a high temperature of 74 degrees F. Thunderstorms pelted the area throughout the day.

Even in the rainy conditions, FP3 began on track at COTA at about 10:00a local time Saturday.

Drivers slipped and slid their way around the course  in wet conditions, kicking up a sprays behind them, as they worked on the track challenges at the weekend.

Much to the chagrin of the die hard F1 racing fans who braved the wind and rain to make it out to the Circuit of the Americas, the Formula 1 U.S. Grand Prix stewards postponed qualifying to Sunday at 9:00a CDT.

For qualifying LIVE streams fans will have to find some contraband video on the Internet. Many of the international broadcasts make it onto the video websites including the SkySports/BBC coverage.

Saturday, was a wash, with Hurricane Patricia, the weather will be thunderstorms all day with many hours of heavy thunderstorms, with temperatures in the mid-60s / 18 C.
