Ferrari (NYSE:RACE) is world famous, but not many people know that the museum of Ferrari is located in the small Italian city of Maranello.

Besides this museum, there are Ferrari’s HQ and its factory.

Life in Maranello, Italy is closely connected with the activity of this iconic company that has existed for more than 80 years.

The signage, placards and stands in the city remind visitors and tourists that this is where Ferrari’s motor racing originated.

Enzo Ferrari (1898-1988) was the racing driver for the Alfa Romeo Team. He established the team Scuderia Ferrari with the same badge we know today.

After his years at Alfa Romeo and WWII he founded his own company to produce racing and sports cars.

They were expensive then, they are expensive now.

The rest is history.
