The business owner arrived arrived around 9 a.m. Monday to find his business had somehow caught fire.
The blaze started at the convenience store on Northwest Ninth Street and Northwest 10th Terrace, sometime Monday morning. Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue sent 7News pictures as they prepared to enter the building.
Fire Rescue quickly put out the flames despite the difficulty of getting through the store’s security bars and the locked roll up doors. The owner of the store still decided to open for business after the fire.
Investigators said the cause of the fire was electrical. No one was injured.
