FXStreet (Bali) – Senior German politicians are starting to turn more aggressive on their rhetoric towards a Grexit, with the main view being that a No vote means a vote for exclusion of the Eurozone.
Reuters quotes a senior German politician Michelbach saying: “Greece appears to have chosen a path of isolation. One has to ask whether Greece may be better off outside the Eurozone.” Michelbach adds: “I see no chance that a solution on Greece can be found in next 24 hours”
Meanwhile, another German politician, Kloeckner, said: “Tsipras should not think he can put Europe under pressure with referendum result.” While the Head of German savings banks association said: “Greeks have broken the rules of the Eurozone and should leave.”
German’s Gabriel said Tsipras “has ripped down the last bridge on which a compromise with Europe could have been built.”
