Google Fiber, the high speed internet access business owned by Alphabet, has agreed to acquire San Francisco- based gigabit Internet Service Provider Webpass. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The acquisition, which is scheduled to close this summer, is expected to create superfast, abundant Internet connectivity in the U.S. to meet the urban expansion.
